Summer Time Rendering is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuki Tanaka. It was featured in Shueisha’s digital magazine Shnen Jump+ from October 2017 to February 2021. OLM broadcast an anime television series from April to September 2022. A live-action film, an actual escape game, and a video game have also been announced.
Shinpei Ajiro spent his early years with the Kofune sisters Ushio and Mio after the death of his parents before relocating to Tokyo to live alone. Two years later, when he finds out that Ushio drowned, he returns to his hometown on Hitogashima Island in Wakayama Prefecture to attend her burial.
Shinpei, on the other hand, developed doubts when he saw that Ushio had strangle marks on her neck, indicating that she had been murdered.
Shinpei, who is currently troubled by her “ghost,” collaborates with Mio in an effort to learn the truth about what really happened to Ushio in order to maybe shield the villagers from a sinister, dark mystery.
